Privacy Policy

This policy describes how ePerfectStore.com collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data of anyone who interacts with the site. Because the site primarily serves the Colombian and LATAM market, the policy is anchored in Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013. It applies to anyone who provides personal data through the site, its forms, or its contact channels.

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data collected through this site is:

PERFECTSTORE TECHNOLOGIES, LLC
Operator of the ePerfectStore.com brand.
Privacy and rights-exercise contact: contacto@eperfectstore.com.

Pending: registered legal address and the name of the legal representative or data-protection officer. These fields will be filled in the next revision.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect the following data when you interact with the site or complete the demo-request form:

Identification and contact: name, work email, company.
Free-text message: the contents of the form's "message" field, when you fill it in.
Automated technical data: approximate IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages visited, referrer, date and time of the visit. These are collected via analytics and tracking tools (see section 6).
Language preference: stored locally in your browser (localStorage) under the eps_lang key.

We do not knowingly request or collect sensitive personal data (racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health, sexual life, biometric data, data of children or adolescents). If you voluntarily include such data in the free-text field, we will request your explicit authorization before processing it.

3. Processing purposes

We use the data we collect strictly for the following purposes:

To respond to product-demo requests and inquiries about commercial information.
To establish and maintain a commercial relationship when you contact us or request a proposal.
To send communications related to the product, including follow-ups on your request, relevant operational updates, and — when you authorize it — marketing communications related to the retail and market-intelligence category.
To improve the site and the product: analyze usage patterns, debug errors, and measure page performance.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to requests from competent authorities.

We do not use your data for purposes incompatible with the above, and we do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Legal basis

Processing relies on your prior, explicit and informed authorization, granted when you fill out and submit the contact or demo form. Part of the processing also rests on ePerfectStore.com's legitimate interest in operating the site, preventing fraud, and improving the service.

5. Data-subject rights

As a data subject, you have the right to:

Access your data, free of charge.
Know, update, and rectify your data when inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated.
Request proof of the authorization you granted for processing.
Be informed about how your data has been used.
Revoke authorization and request the deletion of your data, where no legal or contractual retention duty applies.
File complaints with the Colombian Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for breaches of Law 1581/2012.

6. Processors and third parties

To operate the site and run commercial follow-up, we engage the following processors who may have access to your data:

Each processor follows its own treatment policy, available on its website. ePerfectStore.com does not share your data with third parties other than the above, except when required by law.

7. International transfer

As noted, several processors are located outside Colombia, primarily in the United States. By authorizing the treatment of your data through this site, you accept that your data may be transferred internationally for the purposes described. Some destination countries may not offer a level of protection equivalent to Colombia's; in those cases, ePerfectStore.com requires reasonable contractual and security standards from its processors.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, unless a legal obligation requires a longer period. As reference:

Demo-form data: up to 3 years from your last interaction with the brand, unless you have started an active commercial relationship.
Active commercial-relationship data: throughout the relationship and up to 5 years after termination, for accounting and legal reasons.
Technical browsing data: aggregated or deleted in short windows according to each processor's policy.

9. Cookies and tracking

The site uses:

Browser local storage (localStorage): to remember your language preference (key eps_lang). Does not identify the user.
Leadsy pixel (r2.leadsy.ai): anonymous identification of visiting companies via IP, without direct personal identification.
CDN headers and requests: required by Google Fonts and cdnjs to render the site.

You can disable local storage from your browser settings. Disabling it may affect persistence of your language preference.

10. Exercising your rights

To exercise any of the rights described in section 5, send a request to contacto@eperfectstore.com including:

Your full name and the contact details you provided to the site.
The right you wish to exercise and a clear description of the request.
Valid identification (when applicable) so we can verify your standing.

We will respond within the time frames set by Law 1581/2012: queries within 10 business days; complaints within 15 business days, extendable for up to 8 additional days when needed.

11. Children's data

This site targets professionals and companies. We do not intentionally request or process personal data of children or adolescents. If we discover that we have received data of a minor without their legal representatives' authorization, we will delete it as soon as practicable.

12. Information security

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, or loss: HTTPS-only traffic with HSTS, a Content Security Policy (CSP), restrictive referrer policies, and periodic vendor review. No measure is absolute; you acknowledge the residual risk inherent to using the internet.

13. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect legal, operational, or technological changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of this document. When changes are substantive, we will post a visible notice on the site and, where applicable, request renewed authorization.
